Privacy policy
Qualified Compute ("the service", "we") is a research tool that ranks industrial properties by the electrical service already in place. This policy explains what we collect when you use it at https://qualifiedcompute.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name, and a Google account identifier so we can recognise you next time. When you sign in with an email link we store the email address you enter. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Activity in the service. Which site dossiers you open, which sites you mark as pursued, contacted or passed, and any notes you attach to those decisions. This is what makes your account useful to you; it also counts toward the dossier allowance on your account.
- Session data. A session cookie so you stay signed in, the browser user-agent string on that session, and the time of your last sign-in.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, URL, timestamp) for security and debugging. We do not build profiles from them.
We do not collect payment details, and the service shows no advertising.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account and its decisions separate from other accounts.
- To apply the access limits configured for your account (which datasets you can see, how many dossiers you can open).
- To send you sign-in links or invitations by email when you ask for them.
- To keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and understand overall usage.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies
We use only cookies the service needs: a session cookie after you sign in, a short-lived cookie that protects the Google sign-in handshake, and browser storage for interface preferences such as a remembered map filter. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third parties that process data for us
- Google — sign-in with Google, under Google's own privacy policy. We request only your basic profile and email.
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, file storage and network security for the service.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in and invitation emails.
Property information in the service
The site records you see are compiled from public sources such as government facility registries, utility filings, parcel records and news coverage. They describe properties and the organisations that own or serve them, not private individuals. If you believe a record includes personal information about you, contact us and we will review it.
Retention
Your account and its activity are kept while the account exists. Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity or when you sign out. Sign-in links expire after use or within their validity window. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to export or delete the data tied to your account by emailing christiankrautter@gmail.com. If you signed in with Google you can also revoke the service's access from your Google account settings.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
